Born in Moss Side, Erinma Bell is an activist who has dedicated her life to ending gun
violence. She was awarded an MBE in 2010, has an honorary doctorate from Salford
University and last year, was honoured with a sculpture in Manchester town hall – the first
–ever sculpture of a woman in the building.
